Whether your images are colour or black and white, scanning rolls of negative film are a wonderful way to bring back the full story the time and you will often see images that were never printed, but just as cherished.
Negatives are scanned at 4000dpi as a digital negative (DNG or RAW for the people familiar), and then converted to a positive and individually colour corrected, resized to 300dpi allowing for 11×17” prints at full resolution, and hosted online for a year.
